Terms & Conditions

Welcome to South Bay Pure View

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any services provided by South Bay Pure View, including window cleaning, gutter cleaning, solar panel cleaning, screen cleaning, and related services (“Services”).

By booking a service, requesting a quote, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Note: This page is for general information purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.

Quarterly Service Plan – Terms Agreement

1. Services Included

The plan includes the following services within a 12-month period:

Four (4) Quarterly Exterior Window Cleanings
Services are scheduled every three months.

$100 Service Discount
This plan includes a $100 discount off standard per-visit pricing.

7-Day Rain Guarantee
If rain causes visible spotting within 7 days of service, South Bay Pure View will return to touch up affected glass at no extra charge.

Free Hard Water Stain Removal
Applies to all panes of glass. If stains are unable to be removed, the customer will be notified.

Screen Handling
Screens are removed at the start of service and reinstalled upon completion.
Clients may opt into one free screen cleaning per year.

2. Optional Add-Ons

The following services may be added for an additional discounted charge:

• Interior window cleaning
• Gutter cleaning
• Solar panel cleaning
• Screen cleaning beyond the included annual service

3. Payment Terms

Clients must select one of the following payment options:

Monthly Payments
Total plan cost divided into 12 equal monthly payments.

Per-Visit Payments
Payment is due after each scheduled quarterly service.

Clients will be auto-billed after each service is complete.
A valid payment method must remain on file at all times.

4. Scheduling & Missed Visits

All services must be completed within the 12-month plan term.

Missed or skipped visits must be rescheduled within 14 days of the original service date.
Visits not rescheduled within this 14-day window are forfeited.

No extensions or rollovers are permitted unless discussed otherwise.
No credits or refunds are issued for forfeited visits.

5. Cancellation

This plan continues until canceled or otherwise voided.

The plan may be canceled at any time with at least 7 days’ notice prior to the next scheduled service.
No cancellation fees apply.

If the plan is canceled before all four (4) services are completed, any promotional or discounted pricing is void, and the difference between the plan rate and standard service pricing will be charged.

6. Access Requirements

The client must provide clear and safe access to all service areas on scheduled service days.
Failure to provide access may result in forfeiture of that visit.

7. General Conditions

Services may be rescheduled due to weather.

South Bay Pure View is not responsible for pre-existing damage to glass, frames, tracks, screens, or surrounding surfaces.

This plan applies only to the enrolled property and is non-transferable without written approval.

 

Bi-Annual Service Plan – Terms Agreement

1. Services Included

The plan includes the following services within a 12-month period:

Two (2) Exterior Window Cleanings
Services are scheduled every six months.

$50 Service Discount
This plan includes a $50 discount off standard per-visit pricing.

Screen Handling
Screens are removed at the start of service and reinstalled upon completion.

The following services may be added for an additional discounted charge:

• Interior window cleaning
• Gutter cleaning
• Solar panel cleaning
• Screen cleaning

Company & Service Area

South Bay Pure View is an independent cleaning service based in the South Bay, currently serving San Jose and surrounding areas. Our exact service area may change over time and is listed on our website and/or booking form.

We reserve the right to refuse service to any property or location at our sole discretion.


Description of Services

We provide, but are not limited to, the following Services:

  • Interior and exterior residential window cleaning
  • Commercial window cleaning
  • Gutter cleaning
  • Solar panel cleaning
  • Screen cleaning
  • Track and sill detailing
  • One-time services and recurring maintenance plans (biannual and quarterly options)

Specific services, inclusions, and exclusions for each visit will be set out in your quote, service plan, or booking confirmation.


Quotes, Pricing & Estimates

  • All prices and quotes are estimates based on information you provide (property size, number of windows, access, condition, etc.).
  • Final pricing may be adjusted after on-site inspection and before work begins. Any changes will be communicated to you for approval.
  • Promotions, discounts, and special offers are subject to change and may be limited in time or availability.
  • Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change our pricing and fees at any time, but such changes will not affect confirmed bookings that have already been accepted by both parties.


Booking & Appointments

You may book Services through our website, booking form, phone, email, or third-party booking system.

By placing a booking, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or have authority to act on behalf of the property owner or manager.
  • The information you provide (address, contact details, service details) is accurate and complete.

Your appointment is considered confirmed once you receive a confirmation message by email, SMS, or through our booking platform.


Access to Property

You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed date and time, including:

  • Ensuring someone is present to grant access (if required), or providing secure access instructions.
  • Unlocking gates, side yards, and areas where windows, gutters, or solar panels are located.
  • Removing or relocating obstacles that may block access to windows or gutters (e.g., furniture, decorations, vehicles, potted plants, etc.).

If our team arrives and cannot safely or reasonably access the areas to be serviced, we may:

  • Perform only the accessible portion of the work (with possible price adjustment), or
  • Reschedule the appointment and charge a trip fee or cancellation fee (see Section 8).

Customer Responsibilities & Property Condition

To ensure a safe and effective service, you agree to:

  • Inform us of any existing damage, cracks, leaks, loose fixtures, or fragile items near windows, gutters, or solar panels.
  • Secure pets and children away from work areas.
  • Ensure water and electricity are accessible if required.
  • Remove items from window sills and frames where interior cleaning is requested.

We are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or defects in windows, frames, seals, gutters, roofs, or solar panels.
  • Damage caused by faulty installation, old or fragile glass, oxidized frames, or previously compromised materials.

If we determine that a surface is too fragile or unsafe to clean, we may refuse that part of the service in order to protect both parties.


Service Plans & Maintenance Programs

We offer recurring service plans (such as biannual and quarterly window cleaning) which may include:

  • Discounted pricing compared to one-time services
  • Additional benefits (e.g., hard water stain attention, short-term rain guarantee, priority scheduling)

Details of each plan, including frequency, included services, and pricing, will be outlined separately in your plan agreement or confirmation.

  • You may request schedule changes within the notice period described in Section 8.
  • We reserve the right to adjust plan pricing with reasonable prior notice.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Show Policy

We understand that plans change. To cancel or reschedule:

  • 7 days before cleaning notice of cancellation or reschedule unless communicated otherwise
  • failure to follow may result in forfeiture of visit, late fees may apply
  • if you are not satisfied with our work call back within 48 hours.

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments in case of unsafe weather, unsafe working conditions, emergencies, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you and reschedule as soon as possible.


Weather, Rain & Satisfaction Guarantee

We do our best to work around typical South Bay weather conditions.

  • Rain Policy / Short-Term Guarantee:
    If rain occurs within our stated guarantee period following an exterior window cleaning (for example, within 7 days), and you believe it has noticeably affected the cleanliness of your windows, please contact us. We will review your request and, if applicable under our policy, arrange a touch-up on affected areas.

  • Satisfaction:
    If you are not satisfied with the result of our work, please notify us within 24–48 hours of the completed service. We will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns, which may include revisiting and re-cleaning specific areas.

Guarantees do not cover:

  • New dirt or debris (e.g., from landscaping, construction, storms, or ongoing environmental factors).
  • Issues caused by pre-existing damage, hard water etching, or permanent staining that cannot be removed with standard cleaning methods.

Payments & Billing

Payment terms will be provided in your quote or booking confirmation and may include:

  • Payment due upon completion of service, or
  • Partial or full payment required in advance (deposit or prepayment), particularly for large or commercial projects.

We accept the payment methods listed on our website or booking platform (such as credit/debit card, online payment, or other approved methods).

  • Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees, collection efforts, or service suspension for recurring plans.
  • Returned payments or chargebacks may incur additional fees.

Damage, Liability & Safety

We take great care while working at your property. However, certain risks exist when working at height, on ladders, roofs, or around glass and building materials.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability for any claim relating to our Services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (such as loss of use, loss of income, or loss of value).

You agree that we may decline or stop work if we determine that conditions are unsafe for our team (e.g., unstable roofs, severe weather, unsafe ladder footing).


Photos, Videos & Marketing

With your permission, we may take before-and-after photos or videos of our work for quality control and marketing purposes.

  • We will not publicly share any content that clearly reveals personal identity or sensitive information without your consent.
  • You may request that photos of your property not be used for marketing by notifying us in writing.

Website Use & Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, icons, and layout, is the property of South Bay Pure View or used under license, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, reproduce, or republish website content without our written permission.
  • Use our website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.

Third-Party Tools & Links

Our website may integrate third-party tools or link to third-party websites (such as booking platforms or payment processors).

  • We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites or services.
  • Your use of third-party tools and sites is subject to their own terms and policies.

Privacy & Communications

When you submit a form, request a quote, or book a service, you may provide personal information such as your name, email, phone number, and address.

  • We use this information to contact you about your booking, provide quotes, schedule services, and share important updates.
  • By providing your contact information, you consent to us contacting you via email, phone, or SMS related to your inquiries and services.

Changes to These Terms

We may update or modify these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
